American Red Cross Blood Drive

Description: Piedmont Fayette Hospital's Auxiliary is helping by hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on February 11th, June 10th, August 12, and October 14th, from noon to 5 p.m. It will be held in Building 1279 - 1279 Highway 54 West, just west of the main hospital on Highway 54 -- on the third floor, Conference Room C. Eligible donors must be healthy, 17 years of age or older and weigh at least 110 pounds. Donors may give blood every 56 days, or six times a year. Donating blood is a simple process that saves more than 4 million American lives each year, according to the American Red Cross. For more information contact 770-719-7098.
