Dr. Davidson earned his medical degree from University of Florida. He completed his residency in general surgery at Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was medical resident of the year, and completed his surgical oncology fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center at University of Texas. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Davidson was in private practice in Albany, Georgia. He served as the Regional Director of Surgical Oncology Education at Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition. Dr. Davidson is a fellow of the Society of Surgical Oncology and the American College of Surgeons. He has been actively involved in research and has published many publications. Dr. Davidson joined Piedmont in 2007 as the medical director of Surgical Oncology, bringing over 11 years of clinical experience. He is accepting new patients and participates in most major insurance plans.
